Short Bio:
I am from Piketberg, a very small town in the Western Cape. I have completed my undergraduate studies at Stellenbosch University. The reason why I am pursuing my postgrad is because I am very passionate about ruminant nutrition as well as finding ways to improve the production of animals, especially if it can have a positive impact for farmers. I also have a keen interest in the aquaculture industry and I am doing a short course to better my knowledge on the industry. The goal I would like to reach within the next 5-10 years is to have made an impact (big or small) within the agricultural sector as well as find my place within the industry where I feel fulfilled.
